Hosted at Hidden Vale Cabins, set amongst peaceful bushland and rolling countryside in Queensland, this retreat offers a rare opportunity to step away from the pace of everyday life and return to what matters most...yourself.
This is not about fixing or improving yourself.
It’s about remembering who you are beneath the roles you carry - provider, leader, partner, father, professional and allowing space to breathe, reflect and reconnect.
Over four days, you’ll be guided through a carefully curated experience that blends breathwork, meditation, time in nature, reflective practices and meaningful group conversations.
There is a natural rhythm to the retreat, one that balances stillness and movement, solitude and connection - allowing space for clarity, awareness and presence to emerge.
Hidden Vale, particularly in winter, becomes part of the experience itself.
The crisp air, slower pace, quiet mornings and evenings around the fire create an environment that naturally invites you to slow down.
Fireside chats replace distractions
Nature replaces noise
Stillness replaces urgency.
With limited external interruption and a setting designed for simplicity and connection, you are supported to gently step away from the mental load of daily life and reconnect with yourself, others and the natural world.
Beyond The Noise Men’s Retreat is for men who want more than a break or a weekend away.
It’s for those seeking more clarity, connection and a deeper sense of alignment - not just during the retreat, but in how they return home and show up in their lives.
You’ll leave feeling grounded, clear and reconnected - better equipped to be a present partner, father, leader and human being.
The retreat is guided by a man deeply committed to helping others slow down, reconnect and live with greater clarity and intention. Steve Hodgson is the founder of Beyond The Noise Collective and host of The Noise of Life Podcast.
With a background spanning leadership and business and in more recent years mental health support and advocacy, Steve brings lived experience of burnout, identity loss and the pressure that comes with carrying responsibility for others. His work is grounded not just in what he’s learned, but in what he’s lived - navigating life’s challenges and using those experiences to help others find space, clarity and direction.
Steve is known for his calm, relatable and down-to-earth approach, creating environments that feel safe, open and free of judgement. His facilitation style invites honesty, reflection and meaningful conversation, allowing each participant to show up as they are.
You’ll find that Steve doesn’t sit above the group as a traditional host - he walks alongside it, engaging and participating just as much as he guides.
